Day by Day Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately a two to three hour journey.
Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park. Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds, seasonal Tarangire River, and impressive baobab trees. Wildlife sightings often include elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, and numerous bird species.
After a picnic lunch inside the park, continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands.
Arrive in Serengeti in time for an afternoon game drive. The park’s vast open plains support large populations of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and massive herds of herbivores.
In the evening, check in at your lodge or tented camp located within the park and enjoy dinner in a tranquil wilderness setting.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Your safari guide will tailor the day to follow wildlife movements and maximize viewing opportunities.
Depending on the season, you may encounter the Great Migration or observe predator activity across the plains. Lunch may be enjoyed as a picnic in the bush or at the camp, followed by further game viewing in the afternoon.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater floor hosts an incredible concentration of wildlife, providing excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, including the endangered black rhinoceros. Other wildlife includes lions, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species.
After a picnic lunch, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
