Day by Day Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately a two to three hour journey.
Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, seasonal Tarangire River, and impressive baobab trees. Wildlife sightings commonly include elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, and numerous bird species.
After a picnic lunch inside the park, continue with an afternoon game drive before driving to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, depart Tarangire and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Enjoy a game drive through the lush groundwater forest and along the lake shore. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, baboons, hippos, and a wide variety of bird species. Lake Manyara is also known for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are never guaranteed.
In the afternoon, proceed to your lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight stay.

After a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend to the rim and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
